Betway Aviator in Kenya: the international brand, the local paybill and the fake apps

Betway is the one global bookmaker on our Kenyan list, licensed here as well as in South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia. That brings a polished Aviator, Spaceman and JetX next to it, and a search result full of fake 'Betway Aviator' apps. Here is the real route.

Betway is the only brand on our Kenyan list that is also a household name in Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam and Lusaka. It holds a BCLB licence in Kenya and runs a separate Kenyan site, which matters more than it sounds: a Betway South Africa account does not log in here, and most of the pages Google shows for "aviator betway" in Kenya are Betway's Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia Aviator pages, or Play Store apps called "Aviator Betway" that have nothing to do with either company. Betway Kenya itself has no Aviator landing page, which is why the search is so confused. This page is the Kenyan guide that should exist.

Where Aviator is on Betway Kenya

Log in on the Kenyan site and open Casino from the header; on mobile it is in the top bar next to Sports and Live. The casino lobby has a crash games row with Aviator, Spaceman and JetX tiles. Tap Aviator. If the row has moved, the casino search box finds it in two letters.

The game opens inside the page using your main Betway balance. Betway Kenya does not use a separate casino wallet, so there is no chip transfer of the SportPesa kind. The game is the official Spribe build, identical to the one on every other site here.

Two notes before you go further. Betway's Kenyan site is the only place a Kenyan account works; the .co.za, .co.tz and .co.zm sites are separate operations with separate accounts and payment methods. And the "Aviator Betway" apps in the Play Store, including the one that calls itself a predictor, are not from Betway. There is no standalone Aviator app from anyone. Betway's own Kenyan app contains the casino and that is where the game lives on a phone.

Registering with your Safaricom number

  1. Open the Betway Kenya site and tap Register. Check the address: it is the Kenyan domain, not .com or .co.za.
  2. Enter your phone number in 07 format. Use the Safaricom line you deposit from; M-Pesa deposits are matched to it and withdrawals only go to it.
  3. Set a password and fill in the details Betway asks for. As an international brand, Betway asks for a little more than Betika does, typically name and date of birth alongside the number.
  4. Enter the SMS code. Betway sends a verification code to the number. Type it in and the account is live.
  5. Open Casino and watch a few Aviator rounds before you deposit. The demo toggle inside the game runs with play money.

Betway asks for your national ID before a first withdrawal, and its verification is stricter than the local brands' because its compliance runs to international standards. Do it at registration so a first withdrawal is not delayed by it.

Betway Aviator login and password reset

Open the Betway Kenya site, tap Login, enter your registered phone number and password, tap Login. Open Casino and tap Aviator. The app keeps the session open.

If login fails, check the three usual things in order. The number format: 07XXXXXXXX, no +254. The site: a Kenyan account rejected on the South African site is the most common Betway login complaint we see, because the Google result took the person to the wrong country. The password: stop after two tries and tap Forgot password, enter the number, wait for the SMS code, set a new one. If no SMS arrives, confirm the line is active; Betway's support can verify you by ID.

The only place to type your Betway Kenya password is the Kenyan site or the official app. This link goes there.

Depositing with M-Pesa

  1. Log in and tap Deposit, next to your balance.
  2. Choose M-Pesa and enter the amount. The deposit page shows the current minimum; Betway's floor is low but it moves with promotions, so we do not print it.
  3. Approve the M-Pesa prompt on your phone by entering your M-PESA PIN. The balance updates within a minute in normal conditions.
  4. Prefer the M-Pesa menu? The deposit page shows Betway's paybill. Open M-Pesa, Lipa na M-PESA, Pay Bill, enter that number, your registered phone number as the account, the amount, your PIN. No paybill directory we trust lists Betway Kenya's number, so take it from the deposit page rather than from a chat group.
  5. If the balance has not updated after five minutes, keep the M-Pesa confirmation SMS and open live chat with the transaction code.

Airtel Money and bank cards are also accepted, which is rarer on this list than it should be. Whatever the method, Kenyan excise is deducted before the money reaches your balance; the tax section explains.

Stakes and the round on Betway

In our experience Betway keeps the Spribe default: KSh 10 minimum per bet, two bet panels, maximum stake and per-round payout cap shown in the panel. The odds are Spribe's 97% RTP and Betway cannot change them; the global Aviator page has the hit-rate table by target multiplier.

Betway's casino frame is one of the faster ones in Kenya on the same connection, which is the benefit of an international platform. It still does not beat a weak signal, so set auto cash-out before you bet.

The real reason to open Betway for crash games is the row next to Aviator. Spaceman, from Pragmatic Play, has a 50% partial cash-out that Aviator lacks and a slightly lower 96.5% RTP. JetX, from SmartSoft, has three bet slots and a progressive jackpot. If you have played a few thousand Aviator rounds and want something that is genuinely different rather than a different sprite, those two are it, and Betway is the only Kenyan brand on our list with Spaceman.

Betway Aviator promotions

Betway Kenya's promotions are built around the sportsbook and the casino as a whole rather than Aviator specifically, and the amounts change, so we describe shapes only.

Welcome offer. A first-deposit offer, usually a matched amount or free bets, with wagering conditions. Casino play often counts at a reduced rate.

Casino promotions. Periodic free spins, cashback and tournament campaigns across the casino. Aviator and the other crash games are sometimes included in leaderboard-style tournaments, which reward volume.

Rain in the chat. The Spribe rain feature works on Betway as everywhere: free bets drop into the Aviator chat, first to claim, keep the winnings. Betway's Kenyan chat is smaller than Betika's, so rains are less frequent.

Withdrawing to M-Pesa, and what comes off

Open the account menu, tap Withdraw, enter the amount, confirm. The money goes to the M-Pesa line on the account; the withdrawal page shows the current minimum.

Betway does not publish a Kenyan withdrawal time and no source we trust does, so we will not print one. Our own experience on a verified account in working hours has been quick, and the delays we have seen were all first withdrawals waiting on ID checks, which is the one thing you can prevent. If a withdrawal is pending beyond an hour, live chat with the reference number.

Tax is Kenyan law and identical at every licensed operator. Winnings carry a 20% withholding tax, deducted before payout, so a KSh 1,000 Aviator win pays KSh 800. Stakes carried a 15% excise duty for years; the 2025 Finance Act restructured that to a 5% excise on deposits, which is why KSh 100 paid in shows as KSh 95. Betway deducts all of it automatically. The practical effect is a real return below the 97% RTP before you play a round.

What Betway does well with Aviator, and what it does not

The good: a fast, well-built casino, Spaceman and JetX beside Aviator, a single wallet, Airtel Money and cards as well as M-Pesa, and the compliance of a company licensed in a dozen countries. Betway is BCLB-licensed in Kenya and the brand has a long paying history.

The less good: no Kenyan Aviator landing page, which makes the search result a minefield of other countries' sites and fake apps; a smaller Kenyan chat, so fewer rains; promotions that are not Aviator-specific; verification that is stricter and slower than the local brands'; and no published paybill in the directories, so you have to read it off the deposit page. Betway is also one of the few Kenyan Aviator hosts whose paybill is not something your friends already know by heart, which is a small but real friction.

Betway is the Kenyan account to open if you want Spaceman and JetX next to the plane and a casino that loads fast. For Aviator alone, Betika's chat and paybill make it the easier first account; keep Betway as the second one.

Alternatives on this site

Betika is the local heavyweight: paybill 290290, Aviator in the top menu, the busiest chat in Kenya and daily rains. SportPesa has KSh 1 stakes and a standing Aviator Rain, with a casino wallet to transfer into first. Both are BCLB-licensed.

The fake Betway Aviator apps

Two of the top ten results for this search in Kenya are Play Store apps named after Betway and Aviator. One calls itself a predictor. Neither is from Betway, Spribe or anyone with access to the game. The crash point is fixed from a server seed and three player seeds, hashed before the round and verifiable after; no app reads it first. These apps are random-number toys, phishing pages for your Betway login, or referral bait, and the "Betway Aviator APK" sites are the same thing without the Play Store's thin filter. Our predictor guide explains each type.

Keep it a game

Set a session budget, deposit that and no more, set auto cash-out and a take-profit, and stop at either. Betway's account settings include deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and as an international brand its tools are better than most. If gambling has stopped being fun, Kenya's mental health line is 1199. 18+ only. For the Kenyan brands side by side, see Aviator in Kenya and the Kenya hub.

Frequently asked questions

How do I log in to Betway Aviator in Kenya?

Open the Betway Kenya site, tap Login, enter your registered phone number and password, and tap Login. Then open Casino and tap Aviator in the crash games row, or search Aviator in the casino search box. The game uses your Betway balance; there is no separate Aviator login.

Is there a Betway Aviator app?

No. There is no standalone Aviator app from Spribe or from Betway, and the 'Aviator Betway' and 'Aviator Predictor Betway' apps in the Play Store are fakes with no connection to either company. Betway has an official Kenyan app with the casino inside it; Aviator runs there and in the mobile browser.

How do I deposit money to my Betway Kenya account for Aviator?

Log in, tap Deposit, choose M-Pesa, enter the amount and approve the prompt on your phone. If you prefer the M-Pesa menu, the deposit page shows Betway's paybill; use your registered phone number as the account. Excise is deducted before the money reaches your balance.

What is the minimum stake on Betway Aviator?

Betway uses the Spribe default of KSh 10 per bet in our experience, with two bet panels per round. The maximum stake and the per-round payout cap are shown inside the game and can change, so read the panel on the day rather than relying on a blog.

How long do Betway Kenya withdrawals take?

Betway sends withdrawals to the M-Pesa line on the account from the account menu. Betway does not publish a Kenyan time and no source we trust does either, so we will not print one; a verified account in working hours has been quick for us, a first withdrawal that waits on ID checks is slower. The 20% withholding tax comes off first.

I forgot my Betway password. How do I reset it?

On the login page tap Forgot password, enter your registered phone number, and Betway sends a code by SMS. Enter it and set a new password. If no SMS arrives, check the line is active and that you are on the Kenyan site rather than a Betway site for another country, which uses separate accounts.

Does Betway have other crash games besides Aviator?

Yes, and that is its main advantage in Kenya. Betway carries Spaceman from Pragmatic Play, with its 50% partial cash-out, and JetX from SmartSoft, with its jackpot, alongside Aviator. No other brand on our Kenyan list has Spaceman.
